Wing Yin Li is a Ph.D. student in theology. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Wing had spent some formative years in the United Kingdom, where Wing finished undergraduate study as a first-generation student and did two years of international student ministry. Before coming to Princeton, Wing served as a youth minister at a Lutheran church in Hong Kong. Currently, Wing has started the candidacy process in ELCA and is serving as a pastoral associate at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church in Ewing, NJ. Wing holds an M.A. with honors in philosophy and theology from the University of Edinburgh and an MDiv. from Princeton Theological Seminary, where Wing received the Senior Fellowship in Theology.

Wing's research focuses on engaging apocalyptic as a theological category by reading the Apocalypse of John as resistance literature and explores how this apocalyptic understanding can enrich the theology of resistance. Wing’s research interests also include systematic theology, continental philosophy, postcolonial theology, and social epistemology.
