Kobena Ebo Edumadze Quainoo is a PhD student in Biblical Studies (Old Testament). He has earned both an MDiv and ThM from Candler School of Theology at Emory University, where he was the recipient of the distinguished John W. Rustin Award in Prophetic Preaching. He recently received his MTS (Biblical Studies) from Loyola University Maryland ’23. Prior to Seminary, Ebo completed a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and worked as a project engineer. He is an ordained minister in the Methodist Church Ghana. Ebo’s research interests lie in the field of the Second Temple Period, Jewish and Christian Origins, and issues of ancient identities. He is especially interested in identity formations and religious expressions in diaspora communities.
