Katarina von Kühn is a PhD student in the Theology department, concentrating in Christian Ethics. She earned degrees from Baylor University (BA in Religion), Duke Divinity School (MDiv), and Yale Divinity School (STM), and has served as a pastor in the United Methodist Church. Her research interests include virtue ethics, structural violence, political theology, and ecclesiology. In particular, Katarina’s research focuses on how structural sin impacts moral agency and formation, asking the question of what it means to flourish when everyday habits cause unintended harm.
