Rev. Bianca A.R. Howard, MDiv '05, is a licensed and ordained minister of the gospel. While on a mission trip to South Africa in college, God called her to full-time ministry. She is a 2000 graduate of Valdosta State University with a degree in broadcast/journalism and earned a Master of Divinity in 2004 from Howard University School of Divinity. She continued her graduate studies in theology attending Princeton Theological Seminary and earned a Masters of Theology in 2005. Howard is currently the full-time Children and Youth Pastor at Zion Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia where she has served since 2006. She has extensive missions experience traveling all over the world to places such as India, Costa Rica, and throughout Africa and Europe. Howard is also a blogger for www.BWIM.info, a Baptist Woman in Ministry website. She is a proud and active member in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and currently holds the position as chaplain for her local chapter. In addition, Howard serves as a staff member with the Academy of Preachers, a national organization that equips young ministers of the gospel. She is also in the process of authoring her first book in which she address the fundamental of a successful children and youth ministry in the black church setting. She serves as the region six (Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia) representative for the Princeton Theological Seminary alumni executive council.
