Alex Kato hopes to finish his homiletics PhD in 2020, serve a local congregation as pastor, and someday help train preachers in a seminary or Bible college. He and his wife are from Seattle, Washington, where Alex was a high school pastor before earning his MDiv at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. His current research examines the loss and retrieval of sincerity in preaching. He serves as a deacon, helping with the worship service, at Stone Hill Church.
