Princeton Theological Seminary hosted Dr. Traci West to lecture on “Solidarity and Defiant Spirituality: Africana Lessons on Ending Gender Violence” on April 16 in the Theron Room of the Princeton Theological Seminary Library. This event was sponsored by the Center for Theology, Women, and Gender. The lecture explored questions about the kind of approach that is needed for Christians to ethically engage in transnational Africana solidarity to end gender violence, especially the targeting of black lesbians in the U.S. and South Africa.

A time for Q&A and a reception followed the lecture.
