On June 12-17, 2022 the Joe R. Engle Institute of Preaching convened a weeklong program on Princeton Theological Seminary’s campus. Hosted by the Office of Continuing Education, the program is designed to nurture and strengthen those have been preaching regularly for 2-10 years. Engle fellows attend worship and daily convocation together and take part in workshops designed to support and challenge those who are called to preach.

Dr. Janette Ok, associate professor of New Testament at Fuller Seminary and pastor of Ekko Church in Fullerton, California, was this year’s preacher. Dr. Stacey Floyd-Thomas, associate professor of ethics and society at Vanderbilt University, and Dr. Juan Floyd-Thomas, associate professor of African American religious history at Vanderbilt University, delivered this year’s convocations.
