Princeton Theological Seminary's campus community came together on August 31, 2022 for opening convocation in Seminary Chapel. Dean Jacqueline Lapsley, Dean John Huh, President Craig Barnes, and Dr. Lisa Marie Bowens served as liturgists. Dr. Elaine James, associate professor of Old Testament, delivered this year's convocation address, titled "A Word to the Wise." In her address, James repeatedly asked "Who is wise?" and "Where does wisdom come from?," eloquently exploring potential answers and encouraging listeners to examine this questions for themselves as well.
