“What in the world am I doing here? What is my purpose in life? Who am I called to be? Why have I been put on this earth? How did I get to Seminary? " The Reverend Dr. Nancy Lammers Gross, the Arthur Sarrell Rudd Professor of Speech Communication in Ministry, poses these questions during Princeton Theological Seminary’s opening convocation on September 4, 2019 at Miller Chapel. Dr. Gross says Seminary won’t immediately clarify students' vocational questions, but she is sure that their "speaking voice is integral and central to whatever that path is.”
