Princeton Theological Seminary is a private campus. Film crews and still photographers must show proof of insurance and obtain authorization to capture images on campus.
Film and Photo Access
Film crews and photographers should call the Department of Communication at 609.497.7760 at least five business days prior to arrival to ensure that authorization is granted and the appropriate forms are processed without delay. Private areas of campus, including but not limited to Miller Chapel and student dormitory rooms, may not be used for imaging without permission from the Department of Communication.
Faculty, staff, and students are responsible for notifying the Department of Communication in the event that an outside photographer or film crew will be shooting on campus. This will enable our staff to assist in securing authorization.
Many images captured by Princeton Seminary’s photographers are available in photo galleries or by request for use by news organizations. The galleries include portraits of faculty members and assorted campus scenes.
Commercial photography, still and/or motion, is not permitted on campus without prior consent. Commercial use of campus images, in any form including but not limited to advertising and merchandising, requires prior consent of Princeton Theological Seminary. The Seminary’s logo as well as photos that include the logo are reserved for the exclusive use of the Seminary.
Recording Campus Events
Requests for video and audio recording of lectures and campus events are handled by the Department of Communication. Recordings of some public campus events are available online.
Videotaping with small, personal recording devices is allowed for noncommercial use. Visitors may also shoot photographs for personal use.
