Last year, Dr. Ki Joo “KC" Choi was appointed as the Kyung-Chik Han Chair Professor of Asian American Theology, and since joining the faculty, his presence has not gone unnoticed. This semester, Dr. Choi is teaching a course titled "K-Pop Activism, Asian/Asian American Theologies, and Democracy,” which introduces students to Asian and Asian American Christian social justice movements and examines their contributions to our understanding of politics and democratic culture.

Dr. Choi will share more about his classes and other areas of interest during this virtual event, and we will discuss why Asian and Asian American are helpful and necessary categories for theological discourse. We hope you will join us!
