You are invited to attend our virtual open house session to ask questions, learn more about Princeton Theological Seminary’s degree programs, and meet representatives from the Office of Admissions.

This week - The Call to Preach in Current Times: A Conversation with Rev. Dr. Kimberly Wagner

Princeton Theological Seminary welcomed four new faculty members this fall, including Rev. Dr. Kimberly Wagner to the Department of Practical Theology. Dr. Wagner is an ordained minister in the PC(USA) and now serves as an assistant professor of preaching at Princeton Seminary. Critical to her teaching is an emphasis on preaching in the midst of trauma and changing times, and she hopes to prepare her students for whatever ministry they go on to do, both from the pulpit and beyond.

As the fall semester comes to a close, we invite you to join us for a conversation with Dr. Wagner about her identity as a preacher and a scholar, the courses she offers at Princeton Seminary, and how her Princeton Seminary experience has been so far.

“To be in a community where I got to hear so many different perspectives—that was profound for me. I’m grateful for the curiosity, for the practice of learning that was cultivated for me at Seminary.”
