This week: A Conversation with Dr. Dennis Olson

Dr. Dennis T. Olson serves as the Charles T. Haley Professor of Old Testament Theology and Chair of the Biblical Studies Department and has been a beloved member of the PTS community for several years. Dr. Olson’s academic interests are in literary approaches to Old Testament interpretation and biblical theology, and he specializes in the Pentateuch and other narrative literature of the Old Testament. In addition to teaching courses such as “Biblical Theology and Practice of Ministry,” “Exegesis of Exodus,” and “Commandments and Community,” Dr. Olson is also an ordained Lutheran minister and has been an active leader in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
