Trust, Truth, and Trauma: Is Forgiveness Politically Possible?

The Office of the President welcomes speaker Nancy Gibbs on November 4 at 5:00 p.m. in the Iain R. Torrance Atrium at Princeton Theological Seminary Library. The topic will be “Trust, Truth, and Trauma: Is Forgiveness Politically Possible?”

Nancy Gibbs is the faculty director of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics, and Public Policy. Gibbs is the former editor in chief of Time and the first woman to hold that position. She is one of the most published writers in the magazine’s history, having covered four presidential campaigns and written more cover stories than any other writer. She is a frequent guest on radio and television news shows, a former consultant to CBS News and guest essayist for PBS NewsHour.
