The Princeton Seminary Chapel Choir will present their spring concert in the setting of a vesper service. Together we will explore the evening Easter story of the road to Emmaus through hymns, choral anthems, poetry, and the breaking of bread. Choral composers will include well-known masters such as Giovanni Palestrina and Johannes Brahms, as well as contemporary composers such as Richard Smallwood, Elaine Hagenberg, and David Bennett Thomas. Original poetry will be presented by Xiaoli Yang. The choir will be conducted by the Seminary’s Director of Music, Martin Tel, and student conductor, Otis Byrd Jr. The choir will be accompanied by Michael Gittens. All are welcome to join in this choral vesper service.
