Princeton Seminary welcomes Rev. Dr. Samuel Reeves for a discussion on The History and Future of Liberia on Monday, November 12 at 7 p.m.
This lecture will be held in the Theron Room of the Princeton Theological Seminary Library and is free and open to the public.
The Rev. Dr. Samuel Reeves, ’02 DMin and ’97 MDiv, serves as the senior pastor of Providence Baptist Church in Monrovia, Liberia and is a former Vice Presidential candidate in Liberia. Before returning to his beloved Providence, Dr. Reeves served as co-pastor of the Madison Square Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States of America. While at Madison, Dr. Reeves established a Congregation-to-Congregation Cross-cultural Partnership between Madison and Providence. This relationship continues to be a blessing to both Madison and Providence to this day.
“One of the biggest lessons I learned was how to be charitable to views other than my own. Christian charity was shown to me, not just in the readings for class, but from the professors, and the Seminary community.”
