The Center for Black Church Studies will host “Lectures in Community” on Thursday, February 21 and Thursday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the Theron Room of the Princeton Theological Seminary Library. The purpose of “Lectures in Community” is to afford the opportunity for black master's level students (future black scholars) to lecture and receive feedback.


February 21

7:00 p.m. | Theron Room, Princeton Theological Seminary Library

This series of lectures will focus on theological, historical, ethical, homiletical, and biblical (i.e. biblical studies) responses to the Princeton Seminary & Slavery Report and racism broadly.


March 21

7:00 p.m. | Theron Room, Princeton Theological Seminary Library

This series of lectures will focus on student research interests related to the Black Church, Black religiosity, Black theologies, and Black aesthetics among interesting areas of research.
