On Thursday, October 31 from 7:00-9:00 p.m., the Center for Black Church Studies will host the Black Church Studies Alumni Lecture, given this year by Dr. Cleve V. Tinsley, MDiv '07.

Dr. Tinsley is a scholar of race, American religion, and African American culture. Dr. Tinsley earned his MA and PhD from Rice University and also holds a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. He is a post-doctoral research affiliate with the Center for Engaged Research and Collaborative Learning and a visiting research associate in the Religion and Public Life Program at Rice University.

The lecture will be in the Theron Room in the Princeton Theological Seminary Library. Free and open to the public.
