Kirishitan Women Leaders and Their Voices in the Reformations Period

Speaker: Dr. Haruko Nawata Ward, Columbia Seminary

Dr. Ward is a specialist in early modern Japanese women, particularly martyrs and witnesses. She will speak on the topic of Kirishitan (Christian) women leaders in Japan and their voices in the reformations period.

This event is cosponsored by the History & Ecumenics Department; the Center for Theology, Women, and Gender; and the Asian Association at Princeton Theological Seminary.

It is open to Princeton Theological Seminary students, community members, alumni, and friends of Princeton Seminary.
