Women in Ministry Initiative

Our Purpose

The Women in Ministry Initiative (WIM) works to build a supportive community of women in ministry who daily seek to glorify God as we love and serve Christ in the church and in the world beyond its walls. We work to foster a community of women in ministry where relationships are treasured and tended. A community where listening and dialogue are valued and prized. A community where together, amidst our diversity, we learn to seek unity in Jesus Christ and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore: The WIM community seeks to be faithful to our mutual calling in Jesus Christ. Together we work to equip, empower, support, and advocate for women in their service to God, the church, and the world.

“What I like about working in an international church is that I’m always reminded that I’m a foreigner, that the land is not mine and I’m just a passenger on this journey.”
