41 Dean.jpg (23832 bytes)Kenda Creasy Dean is an assistant professor of youth, church, and culture in the field of practical theology and Christian education. An ordained United Methodist minister, she is a member of the Baltimore-Washington Annual Conference. Active in youth ministry ecumenically, nationally, and locally, she is a frequent preacher, speaker, and theologian with youth and youthworkers.   Dr. Dean was drawn to Princeton Seminary because, she says, “for someone interested in youth, church, and culture, Princeton is an exciting place to be right now. Within the past three years, the Seminary has founded an Institute for Youth Ministry, and developed new courses and two degree programs for people who want to emphasize young people in ministry."
