Come “back to seminary” without coming to Princeton and engage in thought-provoking reflection with colleagues and faculty members. Each conference will include plenary lectures and roundtable discussions led by Princeton Seminary faculty members and alumni/ae who teach or work in the respective cities. The roundtable discussions will be less formal than the lectures and more interactive, with time for participant input and a question and answer period. Conferences will also include worship, preaching, and prayer.
A New Century
In celebration of the beginning of our third century of service, under the leadership of our new president, M. Craig Barnes, the Princeton Seminary faculty is joining him on the road, to locations across the country, to discuss cutting edge areas of their work and scholarship!
A New President
At each conference, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the Seminary’s new president, M. Craig Barnes. Hear him preach on Sunday, and join him for dinner on Monday (at each event).
M. Craig Barnes is the seventh president of Princeton Theological Seminary. He began his presidency in January 2013, and also serves as professor of pastoral ministry. Before becoming president, he was a chaired professor at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary while also serving as the pastor and head of staff of Shadyside Presbyterian Church.
