Emily entered the PhD program in January, 2015. She holds a BA in English and Psychology and an MA in Theology from the University of Western Ontario. Emily also holds an MTS from Huron University College. Broadly, her research interests include the relationship between Christian doctrine and ethics. More specifically, Emily is interested in looking at the doctrines of justification and sanctification and their relationship to Christian witness in ecumenical perspective. Emily is particularly interested in how the theology of Karl Barth might frame these questions.
