Briana L. Wong
History & Ecumenics
Briana L. Wong is a PhD student at Princeton Theological Seminary. She is the recipient of an MDiv from the same institution (2015) and a BA in history and French from Columbia University (2012). Her academic work lies within the field of World Christianity, with a focus on the history of Christianity in Southeast Asia. She is especially interested in employing a combination of oral history and ethnography, along with archival research, to explore the spirituality and ministry practices of Christian survivors of the Cambodian genocide of 1975–1979. Briana is an active member of the United Methodist Church and is committed to issues of justice concerning refugees and those seeking political asylum.
