Ha!Man Francois le Roux to Give Musical Presentation at Princeton Seminary

Princeton, NJ, October 26, 2005– A native South African musician who has named himself Ha!Man will give a spontaneous concert of cello music with original electronic backings at Princeton Seminary on Saturday, November 12 at 7:30 p.m. Ha!Man Francois le Roux spent years in a minimalist, nomadic lifestyle, traveling as a solo performer. Today, he has produced a strong following in South Africa and Europe.

Le Roux was trained as a classical musician, but has attempted to make his music, a blend of popular and classical styles, more accessible to a wide range of audiences. His concerts of original music are characterized not only by his virtuosic cello and keyboard playing, but also his accompaniment of singing, whistling, and other vocalizations.

The free concert will be held in the Gambrell Room of Scheide Hall. For more information contact the Chapel Office at 609-497-7890. To visit le Roux’s web site, go to www.hamanworld.com.
