Princeton, NJ, April 11, 2005– On April 11, Princeton
Theological Seminary’s Erdman Art Gallery will open
“Design Matters,” an exhibit of different media
forms created by the designers of the Seminary’s Communications/Publications
Office. The exhibit, set to run through May 27, will feature
typography, photography, illustration, paper, ink, interactive

to tell the Seminary’s story using typography, color,
shape, and image,” says Barbara Chaapel, director

posters, magazine covers, web sites, greeting cards, brochures,
and other material enhance the beauty and the power of words
with the beauty and power of images.”
The Seminary’s Erdman Art Gallery will host an artists’
talk and reception with the staff of the Communications/Publications
Office on Monday, May 2 from 4:30 until 5:45 p.m.
