It takes substantially more time to reach Princeton by car or public transportation from these New York airports.

New Jersey Transit
New Jersey Transit operates trains along the Northeast Corridor with stops at Princeton Junction. NJ Transit has a train station at Newark Liberty International Airport, easily reached by monorail (called AirTrain on the signs in the airport). This train will take you directly to Princeton Junction via the Northeast Corridor Line. From Princeton Junction, transfer to the local train shuttle (“Dinky”) to Princeton. In Princeton, walk to your left toward the only stop light. There is a Wawa market on the corner. Turn right on Alexander Street. Princeton University will be on your right; the Seminary on your left.

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority
Travelers from central Philadelphia may take the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), R7 line, to Trenton, New Jersey. Riders must then transfer to New Jersey Transit’s Northeast Corridor Line to Princeton Junction and transfer to the “Dinky” to Princeton (see above).

Arriving by Car

From the north:
New Jersey Turnpike southbound

Take Exit 9, New Brunswick. Merge onto NJ Rt. 18 N/ County Rd. 527 N toward US1/New Brunswick. Merge onto U.S.1 via ramp to Princeton/Trenton. Follow U.S. 1 for about 18 miles. Take the Alexander Rd. W exit toward Princeton. Princeton University will be on your right; the Seminary on your left.

Route 206 southbound
Follow 206 S into Princeton. At traffic light in Princeton turn right onto Stockton St. (This is Rt. 206 S continuing.) Turn left at first light onto Library Place. Erdman Hall is on your right.

From the south:
Interstate 295 northbound

Follow Interstate 295 N. Take Exit 67A to U.S. 1 N. Take the Alexander Rd. W exit toward Princeton. Princeton University will be on your right; the Seminary on your left.

Interstate 95 northbound
Follow Interstate 95 N from the Philadelphia area. Take exit 8B (Rt. 583, Princeton Pike N) and proceed five miles north to the Seminary. Princeton Pike becomes Mercer Street. The Seminary will be on your right.
