feature Alan Morrison from Westminster Choir College and the Princeton Seminary

Princeton, NJ, February 4, 2013–Princeton Theological Seminary’s Joe
R. Engle Organ Concert will celebrate “A Bach Family Tree” on Friday, February
15 at 7:30 p.m. in Miller Chapel.
Featuring
Alan Morrison, the newly appointed head of the Organ Department at Westminster
Choir College in Princeton, with choral leadership provided by the Seminary
Singers, the concert will feature organ compositions by Johann Christoph Bach,
Johann Bernhard Bach, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, and Johann Sebastian
Bach.
The concert will showcase the many voices of the Seminary’s Joe R. Engle Organ, a two-manual pipe organ built by Paul Fritts and Company and installed in 2000. The concert is open to the public free of charge, through a generous endowment given by Seminary benefactor Joe R. Engle. For more information, call 609.497.7890.
Princeton Theological Seminary was
founded in 1812, the first seminary established by the General Assembly of the
Presbyterian Church. It is the largest Presbyterian Seminary in the country,
with more than 500 students in six graduate degree programs.
