Juan Feliciano is a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico where he grew up and went to school. He is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico (B.A. & M.A. with majors in Education); of Harvard University (Ed. M & Ed. D.), and of Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary (MDiv). For many years he taught classes in higher education institutions, including the University of PR (Arecibo, PR. Associate Professor in Education, Tenured), Carroll University (Waukesha, Wisconsin), Garrett Evangelical (Evanston, IL, Associate Professor in Religious Education), and at the Inter American University (Arecibo and Ponce, PR, Non-tenure position). He was Director of the Center for Hispanic Ministries at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary and Pastor in Chicago (IL), Arecibo (PR), and Ponce (PR). Juan was also Director of the Course of Study School (in Spanish, for Local Hispanic Pastors) offered at Garrett Evangelical Seminary and the Theological School for Pastors (in Spanish, offered at the Evangelical Seminary in PR). He was also Director of Development at the PR Evangelical Seminary and also worked as Director of the Office of Planning and Development of the Regional Colleges of the University of PR. He is married to Anamaris Chico and have four children: Juan U., Ana Y., Yariana (who gave him a grandson, William), and Mariana. Juan came to Florida in 2009 to start his ministry as Hispanic Director of the Center for Congregational Excellence and the Office for New Church Development. He is a trained Coach (Coaching for Excellence in Ministry, and Coaching for New Church Development (planting). Also a member of the Advisory Board of Partners in Coaching.
