In May of 2007, the Hispanic Leadership Program held its inaugural banquet. The President of Princeton Theological Seminary, the Reverend Dr. Iain Torrance gave words of welcome and support on behalf of the Seminary. We honored the work of the former Advisory Committee and the previous director, the Reverend Victor Aloyo. Moreover, the Hispanic Leadership Program received a proclamation of gratitude and support from the Governor’s office. Our keynote speaker, the Reverend Dr. Samuel Pagán, former President of Seminario Evangélico of Puerto Rico, gave an insightful address on leadership for the twenty-first century from Miguel Cervantes’ work on Don Quijote de La Mancha.
