The Erdman Art Gallery

The Erdman Art Gallery at Princeton Theological Seminary, located in the Center of Continuing Education’s Erdman Center, 20 Library Place, Princeton, New Jersey, is pleased to announce its 2008 exhibiting artists. The gallery is in its eighth year of operation and continues to display a wide variety of artwork by local and national visual artists. This year’s schedule offers a variety of exhibition media. Special thanks to Jennifer Concha for her expertise and help with the design and installation of the exhibits.

Mercer County Teen Arts Festival Exhibit

Beginning July 11, and continuing through September 6, 2008, the Erdman Gallery presents the First Annual Visual Arts Exhibit of the Mercer County Teen Arts Festival. The exhibit includes works from Mercer County middle and high school students.

The works on exhibit at Erdman Gallery are by young artists attending schools in the Hamilton, Trenton, and Princeton areas and were chosen by guest artists from among more than 1,300 participants at the Teen Arts Festival at Mercer County Community College, which was held on May 16, 2008.

County Executive Brian M. Hughes says, “The Visual Arts Exhibit at the Erdman Gallery is another venue through which we can share the considerable artistic talents of our young people in Mercer County. This exhibit is open for a limited time, so I encourage anyone who appreciates art to view this collection.”

There will be a reception for the artists on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Erdman Gallery.  All are welcome!

Erdman Gallery admission, the exhibit, and the reception are free and open to the public.

2:30 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
