What does your spiritual life have to do with
leadership effectiveness,
organizational performance,
career growth,
and achieving business results?

EVERYTHING

Our daily work is God’s calling – an empowering opportunity for us to learn more on our journey of knowing and showing greater love. Yet more and more leaders complain that the pressures from the fast-paced workplace of today are pulling them in precisely the opposite direction. Shouldn’t the clergy and laity be doing more together to enable the Holy Spirit to reverse this trend?

This seminar event is a unique opportunity for clergy and laity to come together as fellow professionals to learn about the challenges, benefits and practical applications of allowing the Holy Spirit to impact our influence as leaders in the workplace.

By placing managers and leaders from church and the business community on the same playing field to discuss these questions, we are seeking to empower and improve the effectiveness of all their professional lives. This seminar will help business leaders discover new ways to enhance their organization’s integrity, stewardship and moral character. Senior clergy will better support and encourage professionals within their congregation, and also bring the same principals to their own leadership.

Dr. Stephen G. Payne (LeaderX.com) is an executive leadership coach, speaker, MBA teacher, author and founder of Equilibrium - a community of men and women dedicated to expanding their spiritual journey through their leadership work. Combining his faith, his experience as a CEO, and his 15 years of leadership consulting, he challenges leaders to stay more accountable to God throughout their entire career. His books and CD's include of First Rule of Leadership, Total Leadership, Driving Growth Through Leadership and Manage Your World On One Page.

James B. Wood is Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer for The Clemens Family Corporation, an agribusiness and real estate development company based in Hatfield, PA. Prior to this he spent 15 years in management consulting, where he worked with hundreds of executives in planning and managing corporate growth strategies. He is author of The Next Level: Essential Strategies for Breakthrough Growth, and is currently writing about his experiences connecting personal Christian faith with work.

There will also be a special appearance by Bradley J. Moore, author of the popular Blog Shrinking the Camel” (www.shrinkingthecamel.com). Bradley writes with great candor and humor about the challenges of integrating his career life with his spiritual life.

Audience: Business leaders, senior managers and senior clergy who want to improve their leadership effectiveness and personal growth through developing a stronger connection between spirituality and work.
