A Retreat for Re-Centering, Healing, and Self-CareSaturday, May 9, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.with The Rev. Jill K. H. Geoffrion, Ph.D. Labyrinths, sacred patterns of pilgrimage, are used around the world as personal and communal tools for connection with God. Visual presentations, labyrinth prayer experiences, and other Christian contemplative practices will support participants as they seek balance in their lives. Jill, drawing on extensive travel and research on four continents, will situate our experiences within the global context. If you are in need of inspiration, encouragement and renewal, this retreat is for you! No prior experience with labyrinths is needed. The Rev. Jill K. H. Geoffrion, Ph.D. is the author of Christian Prayer and Labyrinths, Praying the Chartres Labyrinth: A Pilgrim’s Guidebook, and five other labyrinth-related books. Her current research interests include medieval pilgrimage, the Chartres Cathedral in France, and worldwide labyrinth use. Jill travels extensively, installing labyrinths in places of suffering around the world through Faith, Hope and Love Global Ministries.
