Christian Education Day

Program Description: Recognizing the connectional nature of the church, the Erdman Center of Continuing Education and the Educational Ministries Committee of the Presbytery of New Brunswick are pleased to offer a day of opportunities for those interested in Christian Education.

This program is open to the public. This program is offered a no cost, but participants eating lunch at Mackay Campus Center will be charged US$10.

After beginning with worship, there will be a two-hour session in the morning, lunch, then a two-hour afternoon session. The schedule for the day is as follows:

         8:30 a.m.      Registration
         9:00 a.m.      Worship
         9:30 a.m.      Session I
       11:15 a.m.      Lunch
       12:45 p.m.      Session II
         2:30 p.m.      Program Concludes

One program will last both sessions; there are two additional programs in the first session, and two different programs available in the second session. Programs will fill on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Missionalizing Youth Groups: How to Create a Missiology for your Youth Ministry with Erika Funk of Broad Street Ministries (AM ONLY)
  • Curriculum Choices with Su Fall (AM ONLY)
  • Reading the Bible with Young People with Blair Bertrand (PM ONLY)
  • Networking Christian Educators with Mary Alice Lyman and Wendi Werner (PM ONLY)

Registration Process:

Participants are asked to choose either the all day program, or one AM and one PM program.

Lunch will be available for US$10, payable in advance or the day of registration.

Registration:

While early registration is preferred, participants may now register "at the door" in the basement of Stuart Hall, beginning 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
