Your gift will make the future possible for students called to ministry, and help us share resources to nurture a community that is connected by faith.
Gifts of Cash
Donations made by cash, check, or credit card are the easiest way to give. Your gift can be made all at once, or pledges may be paid over a period of three to five years.
Stocks and Securities
Please consult your tax advisor for information about the tax benefits of donating stocks and securities. Publicly traded stocks, private equity, closely held, S-Corp and other non-publicly traded securities may be appropriate gifts to The Bicentennial Campaign.
Planned GivingGifts such as trusts and annuities strengthen the Seminary and may provide an income for you and your family, as well as tax savings.
Legacy bequests, given by making Princeton Theological Seminary a beneficiary in your will, life insurance, IRA, or retirement plan have long been a tradition and a favored way to give.
Real Estate Gifts
Gifts of real estate may avoid capital gains tax. Please consult your tax advisor.
Gifts in Honor and in MemoryA gift to The Bicentennial Campaign can honor and remember a loved one, a Princeton alumnus/a, or a congregation. Naming opportunities for the new library and the new residential campus apartments are available.
NEW ANNUITY GIFT PROGRAM CAN BENEFIT PRINCETON IMMEDIATELY
Princeton Theological Seminary can benefit immediately through a new charitable gift annuity program offered by the Presbyterian Foundation. A charitable gift annuity would ensure you an income for life with income tax benefits and would provide a gift to Princeton Theological Seminary. Historically a deferred giving vehicle, the new program with the Presbyterian Foundation would, in most cases, provide a current gift to Princeton Theological Seminary.
The Presbyterian Foundation will:
- Offer gift annuity rates recommended by the American Council on Gift Annuities (ACGA).
- Accept gifts with a minimum of $10,000.
- Immediately pay Princeton Theological Seminary, as the named beneficiary, a portion of the gift principal.
- Charitable gift annuities can be funded with cash or securities and designated to The Bicentennial Campaign.
