The Siebert Lutheran Foundation provides grants to students who, prior to application to the seminary, are members of Lutheran churches in the State of Wisconsin. Applicants must be enrolled full-time and be candidates for ordination in the Lutheran pastoral ministry. The Foundation will provide up to $3,000 in funding per school year. Dissertation Fellowships for Research Related to Education Deadline: October 20
The Dissertation Fellowships are intended to encourage new scholars from a variety of fields to undertake research relevant to the improvement of education. They will provide stipends of $20,000 to support completion of the dissertation. Although the dissertation topic must concern education, graduate study may be in any academic discipline. Applicants must be candidates for the doctoral degree at a graduate school in the United States and must document the completion of all pre-dissertation requirements by June 1 of the year in which the fellowship is awarded. US citizenship is not required. Required application materials must be requested by October 8 of the year prior to the year in which the fellowship takes effect.

Edwin Whitney Fund Deadline: May 31
Grants from the Whitney fund are available to Connecticut residents who are preparing for ministry in the United Church of Christ. Preference will be given to residents of Mansfield, CT. Awards will be made up to a maximum of $2,000 per person over the recipient's full course of study.

Loan Deadline: April 15
Women residents of Georgia or out-of-state women attending a Georgia school who have above average academic standing and who can demonstrate financial need are eligible for loans of $5,000 - $7,500 per year to undergraduate students and $7,500 per year to graduate school students. Approximately 30 awards are made each year and loans are renewable for additional years. No interest is due on loans while the recipient is in school; 6% interest begins in the unpaid balance three months after the recipient leaves school and after four years the interest rate rises to 12% on the unpaid balance. Those requesting an application should enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Applications are accepted from March 1st to April 15th every year. Applicants will be notified by June 1st as to approval or non-approval of loan request.

Scholarships are based on financial need, academic potential, church/campus ministry involvement, community/mission involvement, and continued academic involvement. Interest free loans are available to active members of a Presbyterian Church in the Synod of the Northeast for the upcoming school year. Individuals who are or will be pursuing higher education goals and will be attending undergraduate and educational programs at accredited institutions on a full-time basis, including seminary study leading to a MDiv degree, within the US and Canada are encouraged to apply.

Mary L. Clark Ministry Study Grants Deadline: April 30
The Mary L. Clark Ministry Study Grants are to further the Presbyterian tradition of a well educated and scholarly clergy. Residents of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania who are members of the Presbyterian Church (USA) engaged in studying for ministry in the office of Minister of the Word and Sacrament are eligible for grants under this program. Award amounts ordinarily are limited to $1,000.
Mary Meade Maxwell Vocations Scholarship Deadline: April 30
This scholarship is used to provide assistance to persons who are residents within the bounds of the Synod of the Trinity, and who are preparing for full time church-related vocations.
