Higgins Scholarship Program Deadline: March 31
Funds are available from the Higgins Scholarship Program to assist persons preparing for church occupations at either the seminary or graduate levels. Applicants must be full-time degree students at the Master or Doctoral level. Preference will be given to students under care of the Presbytery of Chicago and to those attending McCormick Seminary. If additional funds are available, other PC (USA) candidates may be considered. Award amounts vary depending on financial, need and the recipient's plan of study.

Daisy and Eugene Hale Memorial Scholarship Deadline: April 1
The Hale Memorial Scholarship is available to residents of Florida who are under care of a Florida Presbytery who intend to become a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Applicants must be enrolled in a recognized theological seminary and must demonstrate financial need. Award amounts range from $500 to $2,000; awards are renewable in later years to recipients who reapply.

Scholarship Deadline: February 1
Scholarship assistance between $500 and $3,500 per year is available for students engaged in undergraduate and graduate study at an accredited college or university in the United States. Although applicants need not be US citizens, scholarships are awarded only for study at institutions within the United States. Preference will be given to those who can satisfy high scholastic requirements and are considering teaching as a vocation. Applicants are required to appear for an interview in New York, Philadelphia, New Haven or Washington DC, for which the Fund does not reimburse travel expenses. Renewal of grants in future years is considered. Applicants must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope when requesting application forms, which are available after November 1. Application form is also available on-line after November 1 at www.roothbertfund.org.

Academic-Year Ambassadorial Scholarship Deadline: Varies
This scholarship is for one regular academic year of full-time study at an institution assigned by the Rotary Foundation trustees. Funding is provided to defray expenses associated with round-trip transportation, one month of intensive language training, required fees for a normal course load, room and board, and educational supplies. Awards are flat grants of $24,000.
Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarship Deadline: Varies
Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarships are for either three or six months of intensive language training and cultural immersion at a language school selected by the Rotary Foundation Trustees. The three-month scholarship is most appropriate for studying a foreign language in which the applicant may be already be somewhat proficient. The six-month scholarship is more appropriate for studying a language that presents a challenge to the applicant. Funding is provided to defray expenses associated with round-trip transportation, tuition and fees for language training and home stay expenses. Funding is a flat grant of $11,000 for a three month scholarship or $16,000 for a six month scholarship.
Multi-Year Ambassadorial Scholarship Deadline: Varies
This scholarship is for two years of full-time degree-oriented study at an institution assigned by The Rotary Foundation Trustees. The scholarship may be used for almost any field of study, as long as the scholar is enrolled in a specific university degree program and takes course work which relates directly to the completion of one degree. The Multi-Year Scholarship provides a flat grant of $12,000 for each year. Funding is intended to help supplement the costs of pursing one degree at one study institution. Expenses beyond the amount provided are the scholar's responsibility.
