Members of an American Baptist Church of Ohio or of churches dually aligned with the American Baptist Churches of Ohio are eligible for grants from the Ohio Baptist Education Society. Applicants must be preparing to enter the third year of undergraduate study at an accredited institution. Applicants must provide a statement of goals and objectives, a transcript, and a letter of recommendation from the pastor of the applicant's home church. Award amounts vary; if criteria continue to be met, an award will be continued through the years of seminary, at the discretion of the Ohio Baptist Society.
Omaha Presbyterian Seminary Foundation

The purpose of the Apollos Program is to assist the Presbyterian Church (USA) in its important task of developing quality clergy leadership in order that it might more effectively carry out its sacred mission. Applicants must be members of a Presbyterian Church (USA) and under the care of a Presbytery as a Candidate or Inquirer, and must attending a Presbyterian (USA) theological institution pursuing an M.Div. degree. Conditional Grants are $2,500 per year, renewable for a total of $7,500. One year of service in the Presbyterian Church (USA) for each year of Conditional Grant received removes obligation to repay the grant. Scholarships provide $4,000 per year, renewable for a total of $12,000 with no repayment required.

Scholarship assistance in amounts up to $3,000 per year up to 4 years for students seeking the M.Div degree from an accredited seminary, with plans to enter the pastoral ministry. Applicants must have received a degree from an accredited four-year college or university before entering seminary. Information and applications are available on our website January 1-April 15. Applications must be returned by May 1st on the web. Grants are awarded by June 1st. A list of recipients will be posted on the website on June 10th.

The Graduate Study Fellowship Program promotes the economic, social, technical, and cultural development of the member states in order to achieve a stronger bond and better understanding among the peoples of the Americas. Fellowships are offered for graduate study to citizens or permanent residents of any OAS member country. Applicants must know the language of the country where their study is to take place and must secure acceptance in a university or appropriate facility. The award covers travel, study materials, tuition, and a subsistence allowance for a period of three months to two years.
