The Haruyama Ministerial Scholarship assists in confronting the great challenge in uniqueness and the special religious needs of the Japanese American churches which is derived from their bi-cultural heritage and character. The Fund provides scholarship assistance of $1000 to full-time students in accredited Protestant seminaries in the United States who are preparing to serve Japanese American congregations.

Jones Scholarships are open to students in all fields of ministry or priesthood, music with a theological influence, or research with a theological basis. Preference will be given to those from Washington County, Texas and surrounding counties.
