Loans are available from the Fairmont Presbyterian Church Scholarship Fund in the following order of preference: (1) members of the Fairmont Presbyterian Church congregation, (2) members of the Presbytery, (3) members of the Synod, (4) others. The loans are to be repaid by one year's service per year of loan. Loan amounts vary.

Grant Deadline: March 1
The Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts offers assistance to students in the areas of music, worship, drama, dance, visual and other liturgical arts. Applicants must have been members of the United Methodist Church for at least one year prior to application, giving strong evidence of Christian character and participation in Christian activities of the church and/or campus. Applicants must be full-time music degree candidates, either entering as freshman or already in an accredited university, college, or school of theology, or doing special education in worship or the arts related to worship, and they must demonstrate evidence of exceptional musical or other artistic talent, effective leadership ability, and outstanding promise of future usefulness to the Church in the areas of music and/or worship. Louisa C. Nacca Memorial Scholarship Fund Deadline: January 31
Scholarship assistance is available to residents of New Jersey who have permanent physical disability. Applicants must be engaged in education/ writing that leads to the pursuit of an occupation. Scholarships are generally awarded in the early spring of each year. The sooner you apply the better.

Hale Donation Deadline: May 1
Grants are available from the Hale Donation in varying amounts. Preference will be given to those preparing for the ministry in the United Church of Christ and those from Tolland County, Connecticut. The financial need of the students is given top priority in the review process. Recipients who do not receive a degree will be expected to repay funds.

Florence K. Hull Theological Education Fund Deadline: July 1
Grants are available from the Hull Theological Education Fund to students from the Muskingum Valley Presbytery. Applicants must be active members in a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA) under care of the Presbytery, and enrolled in a theological institution of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Award amounts range between $500 and $2,500.

Bridges' Ministers' Trust Deadline: March 15
Bridges scholarships are available to selected students intending to go into the Presbyterian ministry. Applicants must reside, and be members of a Presbyterian church, in one of the following presbyteries located in Tennessee, North Carolina, Maryland, District of Columbia, or Delaware: East Tennessee, Holston, Western North Carolina, Baltimore, National Capitol, or New Castle. The scholarships will provide assistance to meet the cost of tuition, books, living expenses, and other student needs to those attending the following colleges and/or theological seminaries: Davidson, Hampden-Sydney, Columbia Theological Seminary, Louisville Presbyterian Seminary, McCormick Theological Seminary, Princeton Theological Seminary, Union Theological Seminary and Presbyterian School of Christian Education. Applicants will be reviewed and scholarship money will be granted based upon academic achievement, leadership ability, church involvement, and financial need. Scholarship recipients must be members of a Presbyterian Church. Preference will be given to those who select the following institutions related to the Presbyterian Church: Austin Presbyterian Theological; Columbia Theological; University of Dubuque Theological; Johnson C. Smith Theological in Atlanta; Louisville Presbyterian Theological; McCormick Theological in Chicago; Pittsburgh Theological; Princeton Theological; San Francisco Theological in San Anselmo, Union Theological in Richmond and Charlotte, Southern California in Claremont. A minimum of a 3.0 on a 4.0 G.P.A. is required; financial need is considered. Scholarships are granted for one year and are renewable. Applications may be requested from the committee.

Grannis-Martin Memorial Education Fund Deadline: January 1, October 30
Loans are available from the Grannis-Martin Memorial Education Fund for students with a Minnesota connection who are enrolled in a ministerial program preparing for full-time work in the United Methodist Church. Loan recipients may repay the funds by three years of service in the United Methodist Church. Recipients who do not serve such a church will be expected to begin repayment upon termination of study. Award amounts of $400 per year are available with an application deadline of October 30; awards between $600 and $1,100 per year are available with an application deadline of January 1. All awards are available in March of that year, and are renewable for future years upon reapplication.

Doctoral Fellowships for African Americans Deadline: March 1
The Doctoral for Fellowship is for African American students entering a Ph.D. or Th.D. program in religion or theology at an accredited institution in the fall. Students pursuing Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degrees are not eligible for this fellowship. Benefits of this program include attendance at Doctoral Conference and a stipend of up to $18,000 renewable for one additional year. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
Ministry Fellowships Deadline: March 1
The Ministry Fellowships provide enrichment to Master of Divinity students who embody the highest intellectual and spiritual qualities essential for Christian pastoral leadership. Applicants must be entering their second year of a Master of Divinity program at an accredited seminary and be nominated by the dean or president of an ATS-accredited institution during their first year of seminary. Benefits of this program include attendance at a Congregational Leadership Intensive and a $10,000 stipend to fund a self-designed ministry project and defray educational expenses. Applicants must be US or Canadian citizens. Students pursuing Master of Theology or Master of Theological Studies degrees are not eligible. Applicants must be no older than 35 years of age on September 1, 2008.
Congregational Fellowships Deadline: April 1
The Congregational Fellowship is for students entering a Master of Divinity program at an ATS accredited institution in the fall. Benefits of this program include awards ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 to equally match a congregational contribution between $2,000 and $5,000 for tuition and living expenses. Applicants must be U.S. or Canadian citizens and no older than 35 years of age on September 1,2008. Students pursuing Master of Theology (TH.M.) or Master of Theological Students (M.T.S.) degrees are not eligible.
North American Doctoral Fellowships Deadline: March 1
The North American Doctoral Fellowship is for racial/ethnic minority students traditionally underrepresented in graduate education and who are currently enrolled full time in a Ph.D. or Th.D. program in religion or theology at an accredited institution. Students pursuing Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degrees are not eligible. The fellowship provides a stipend of up to $10,000 for one year. Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. or Canada.
Dissertation Fellowships for African Americans Deadline: February 1
The Dissertation Fellowship is for African American students enrolled in a Ph.D. or Th.D. program in religion or theology at an accredited institution and who are at the writing stage of their dissertation. Students pursuing Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degrees are not eligible. Benefits of this program include attendance at the Doctoral Conference and a stipend of up to $18,000 for one year. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
