PTS alum Chaplain Major John Kiser was deployed to Iraq one week before the war started in March 2003. His ministry at the hospital in Tikrit brought him in contact with seriously wounded and dying American soldiers, Marines, Allied soldiers, Iraqi enemy combatants, and civilians, some of whom were children.
