Assistant Professor in Christian Education

Gordon Mikoski's research and teaching interests focus on the relationship between the sacrament of baptism, the doctrine of the Trinity, and Christian education. He is in the process of completing his dissertation at Emory University on the ways in which Gregory of Nyssa and John Calvin understood the relationship of baptism, trinity, and ecclesial pedagogy. He also pursues research in practical theology, effective pedagogy, and the philosophy of education. Gordon is an ordained Presbyterian Church (USA) minister and served a church in Michigan for eight years before returning to graduate school.
