We realize that housing is an important factor in your seminary experience. Our hope is to provide a convenient, affordable, and clean residence for you and your family during your studies here.

The Seminary maintains a fully staffed Office of Housing and Auxiliary Services to assist students. The office is responsible for housing both married and single students, and for providing information about off-campus accommodations. All Seminary housing is located in the Princeton area, which is made up of picturesque countryside and pleasant residential communities.

 Housing Assignment Notifications

Housing assignments will be sent out in mid-July for the coming academic year .  For those attending summer language they will be sent out in early June.  Dormitories will open the Tuesday prior to the first day of class, and apartments will be availible beginning the week beforeLabor Day.

Family Student Housing

Family student housing at Princeton Theological Seminary includes the Charlotte Rachel Wilson Apartment complex, Roberts Hall apartments, and Tennent Hall apartments:

Single Student Housing

Princeton has three dormitories and one apartment building for single students:

All dormitory rooms and apartments have data ports for access to the Seminary’s computer network, cable access for the Seminary's cable tv system, and phone jacks for telephone connection.

Smoke free Housing

All of our residential building are smoke free.  Smoking is not permitted in any residential building or in fact any building on our campus.  Smoking is only permitted 25 feet from any structure.

Off-campus Housing

Each year, both single and married students seek housing other than that offered by the Seminary. The Princeton area offers a variety of townhouses, condominiums, and apartment complexes. On the average, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units in the area are usually double the cost of those at the Seminary. Single rooms to rent are also available through area homeowners.

Pet Policy

Pets (dogs and cats) are allowed at the CRW first floor apartments only. Pet friendly apartments are limited and are not guaranteed. A maximum of two pets is allowed per apartment. An additional monthly fee is charged for each pet. Details of the pet policy are available in the Office of Housing and Auxiliary Services.

 Mail

The student mailroom is located in the first floor of the administration building.  The mailroom is accessible 24/7, the exterior door of the mailroom is unlocked from 6am-6pm daily, after 6pm you must your your student id to gain access.  Click here for information on  Mailroom policy and procedures

Dining

The Dining Hall is located in Mackay Campus Center.  For information and hours click  on Dining

 

Gym

Whitely gymnasium is located at the corner of Stockton and Hibben.  The gym has a basketball court for basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer and table tennis, a, fitness center  and raquetball court.  The gym is a locked facility and you must have your id card to gain access at all times.

The gym is open year round and is closed on the following holidays:  New Years Day, MLK Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

The gym can be scheduled for student groups through the athletic coordinator.  They gym cannot be reserved for individual use.

For group usage, scheduling must be done through the Housing Office.
