Southeast Asia Photographs at Princeton Seminary’s Erdman Gallery
Princeton, NJ, May 26, 2006–Photographer Paul Grand will display his art photography of Southeast Asian Buddhas and temples in an exhibit titled When the Photographer is Ready the Lord Buddha will Appear at Princeton Theological Seminary’s Erdman Art Gallery from June 10 through July 21. This exhibit displays some of the central tenets of Buddhism—mindfulness, awareness, acceptance, understanding, and compassion. An artist’s reception will be held on Saturday, June 10 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the Erdman Art Gallery to coincide with an introductory seminar to Buddhism from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Buddhist nun Bhiksuni Karma Trime Lhamo will present the seminar. The cost for the seminar and reception is $15.
