Fellows and faculty instructors gathered on the PTS campus in June for the fifth annual Joe R. Engle Institute of Preaching. Drawn principally from the Classes of 2000 through 2005, twenty-five women and twenty-four men from eight denominations participated in a week of intensive preaching and speech workshops and enjoyed nightly worship under the musical leadership of Martin Tel and the preaching of Wesley Avram (Class of 1984), pastor of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. The Institute is made possible through the generosity of Joe and Elizabeth Engle, members of Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church, New York.
