Spiritual Depth in Life and Leadership

Location: Erdman Hall, Art Studio
In this workshop, which also functions as a retreat, nine key leadership practices and corresponding soul principles will be discussed. These practices and principles, essential to leading and serving effectively out of a vital spiritual life, are addressed at length, along with questions for reflection and practical suggestions for application, in the course leader’s book, The Spirit-Led Leader.
Participants will:
- Reflect on their own spiritual practices in ways that motivate them to seek a deeper spiritual foundation and connection to God on an ongoing basis.
- Gain helpful tools and resources to cultivate their spiritual life.
- Gain insight into their own leadership practices and develop ways to better integrate their personal faith and leadership.
- Develop their vision for becoming a strong organizational leader in ways that grow out of a vital spiritual life, and gain helpful tools to pursue this vision.
Seminar Leader: Dr. Timothy C. Geoffrion is ordained in the American Baptist Church and has served as pastor, teacher, and chaplain. He is now focusing his energy on developing a teaching ministry and spiritual life coaching of people of influence, including executives, pastors, nonprofit leaders, and lay leaders. Dr. Geoffrion has taught at Luther Seminary, Bethel College, St. Paul Seminary, and Hamline University, and annually leads biblical seminars for pastors in Bulgaria. His Ph.D. in New Testament studies is from Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.
