Application to the D.Min

Please Note:

Beginning in 2006 the deadline for
D.Min. applications is January 15
rather than March 15 as in previous years.

What are the required application credentials?

  • Applicants must have engaged in the regular practice of ministry for a period of at least three years following receipt of the basic theological degree.

  • Applicants must hold the Master of Divinity degree or its formal academic equivalent.

  • Completed application form with $50.00 application fee and official transcripts from all educational institutions previously attended.

  • Letter of endorsement from your judicatory supervisory body to be secured after admission to the program.

  • Three letters of reference in which assessment is made of the applicant’s ministerial practice.

  • Several personal essays described in the application, including theological self-reflection and a tentative sketch of a final ministry project.

  • Declaration of a particular area of ministerial interest selected from the Agenda of Concerns as the focus for study.

Access to a personal computer and the Internet is required for the program in order to use the D.Min. restricted website. Please consult the Director for further information or assistance.

Application materials are due by January 15 for the following academic year.

GRE scores are not required for application.
