Assistant Professor of New Testament. M.A. (Classics), Duke University; M. Div., Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology; M.A., M. Phil, Ph. D., Yale University. His dissertation explores generic polyphony in the Farewell Discourses in the Gospel of John, and he has general teaching and research interests in the Johannine Literature, including early Christian study of the Gospel of John. He is equally interested in the interaction between early Christianity and the classical world, from the New Testament era into Late Antiquity. (Greek Orthodox)
